What is a Color Run?
A Color Run is a non-competitive fun run where runners are covered in Color Powder. It's a fun, festive event that is appropriate for children, teens, and adults.
How does a Color Run work?
Runners will go through "Color Stations" where volunteers will toss Color Powders at runners. The powders will cover runners head-to-toe is a rainbow of colors. At the end of the race, each runner will have a packet of powder to toss in the air together, making a color cloud!
My son/daughter wants to participate in the Color Run. What do I need to know?
They are going to have a great time! For youth under 18 years old, a parent/guardian is required to sign (electronically or in person) a waiver, release, and photo/video consent.
If your child is under 13 years old, he/she must have an adult present at the Color Run. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage in a healthy family activity!

How big is the Color Run?
We anticipate a small event this year. The first 30 runners to register online or in person will receive a free What's Your Strength? t-shirt. We are capping the race at 50 runners.
Is the Color Powder safe?
Safety comes first! The color powders are made of cornstarch and food dye. It is FDA-approved and environmentally safe.
What should I wear to the Color Run?
For best transformation, wear white. At the end of the race you'll be covered in a tie-dye range of colors. We also recommend sunglasses/glasses to protect eyes. If you are concerned about inhaling powders, we recommend wearing a bandana around your face. Tutus are fun, too.
Is it safe to inhale the Color Powder?
Although all the materials are food grade we do not recommend inhaling large quantities of color powder. Of course anyone who has asthma, is allergic to any of the ingredients, or has any respiratory issues should avoid Color Powder.
Does the Color Powder stain clothes, skin, or hair?
Color Powder washes out of most clothing. However, it can stain some materials. 100% cotton clothing is recommended and typical machine washing with stain remover removes the stains. We recommend removing excess powder from clothing before washing and/or applying water.
Just as with clothing, we recommend shaking off all excess powder from skin and hair before exposing to water. Normal soap and water will remove Color Powder from skin and hair.
